Chicken coop installed
Boxing Day saw the arrival of Casa del Chook. The lockup accomodation to prevent the local foxes getting into the girls.
Liz was expecting a working bee but the whole thing had already been constructed in Geelong so it was ready to plug and play.
Pic 1 nothing like a big entry. Eddy and Chester seem happy to have been promoted to travelling in the crew cab.
Pic 2 Is this gunna fit? Nothing a shovel can't fix.
Pic 3 Oma is always on hand for the big events.
Pic 4 The support team enjoying the proceedings
Pic 5 Casa del Chook with the girls giving it a test.

Our only snake proofing is distance from the Bush and a neighbourhood full of large dogs. (And our little Shitzu Xs).
It's working out well though. Sometimes I jump in there and turn over the soil. They love scratching through the results looking for bugs.
